The Rise of “Transtrenders”

In a study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), researchers found that roughly two percent of high school students identify as “Transgender” or “Gender Non-conforming.” This startling reality is ever-present in Western society, as we often see teenagers or younger being encouraged to pick their own “Gender Identity.” Virtue signaling parents, leftist propaganda, and the pursuit of social superiority rather than equality has led to a drop in general LGBT acceptance in the United States.

In comparison to other LGB topics, transgenderism is still a contentious issue. Leftists often call to deconstruct society and proven science as we know it to make the world revolve around transgender people. While the deconstructionists and radical transgender activists are few, they are incredibly loud. In more recent years, we have witnessed a move towards the egalitarian argument that gender is not associated with sex and that we can be whatever we want, whenever we want. The suggestion of the existence of a gender spectrum based on very rare genetic disorders is anti-scientific, and just another vehicle for radical leftists to push a political agenda.

“Transtrenderism” today is exemplified by the nominee for Assistant Secretary of Health for the U.S. Health and Human Services Department, Dr. Rachel Levine, not acknowledging the fact that children should not be chemically and physically castrated because they have the decision making capacity to change their sex. It is represented today by teenage girls being able to walk into a gender clinic because they were told they would feel better about themselves as a boy, and walk out 30 minutes later with a prescription for testosterone. It is represented by the emasculation of men, telling them that masculinity is toxic and destructive to society. It is represented by the push for gender neutral bathrooms, putting women and children at risk of becoming victims by some of the sexual predators that do exist within the transgender community. Transtrenderism is pushing the ideological fallacy that men can be women and women can be men. None of this makes sense or is based in reality, of course, because reality is subjective in the eyes of the left.

Transgender people who suffer from debilitating gender dysphoria are being hurt by transtrenders. The push that hormones and radical surgical procedures are the answer to the problem is just not based in reality. Suicide rates in post-operative transgender patients is just as high as suicide rates in pre-operative patients. There is no supporting evidence that suggests that mutilating someone’s body will fix their issues and heal their pain. There is, unfortunately, no modern solution for people who suffer from gender dysphoria. But one way to drive up suicides among teens who are trying to find themselves and those diagnosed with gender dysphoria is to push medical transitions. It’s been proven to only lead to disaster.

Another effect of Transtrenderism rears its ugly head in women’s sports. One of the big aspects of Title IX was to establish separate sports leagues exclusively for biological women. Recently, men saying they are women have joined these leagues and dominated them in every aspect. We are blatantly undercutting women by allowing biological men to join biological women’s sports. The Equality Act of 2021 forces schools to allow biological men to compete in women’s sports, essentially leaving women’s rights in the rear-view mirror.

As conservatives, we must stand strong in opposition to anti-scientific principles. We must take back our culture, and save Generation Z from falling into the left’s transgender ideology that will most certainly end in disaster.
