‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the conservative movement,
Not a story was stirring, no pieces for amusement,
Lone Conservative was growing the movement with care,
In the hopes that Buckley, Reagan, and Sowell would still be there
From the Lone Conservative family, have yourself a Merry Little Christmas!
As we bid 2020 goodbye and eagerly look forward to what will hopefully be a bright year ahead, here are some highlights at Lone Conservative from what has been the most unusual year for all of us, to say the least.
From an age that feels like a lifetime ago, we rang in 2020 with a 10-day trip to Israel.
We have grown our global contributor footprint to 48 states and 15 countries spanning 5 continents.
Our contributors have had their works published at 48 (!) different local, national, and international media outlets. Prominent outlets where our contributors have been featured include: the Wall Street Journal, National Review, the Financial Times, the Daily Caller, The Federalist, Spectator USA, Quillette, Orange County Register, Townhall, The National Interest, and many more.
Though the pandemic hindered many of our travel plans, Lone Conservative contributors attended six conferences, from YAF’s Road to Freedom, the Fall College Retreat and YAF Nashville, to the Students For Life Conference in Arlington to CPAC in DC.
Our contributors also had the opportunity to interact with a variety of prominent guest speakers in exclusive training sessions, from former SEC Commissioner Mike Piwowar to Shoshanna Weissman and Kevin D. Williamson, speaking on topics as wide as the stock market, regulation policy, and modern journalism.
And do take a moment to check out the latest articles on our website!
Celebrations will doubtlessly feel different this year, but as we celebrate with our loved ones, we hope you have a blessed festive season. Although it’s been said many times, many ways, Merry Christmas, to you!
With much warmth,
The Lone Conservative Family
